A study proves that lavender oil has the ability to grow your hair faster and thicker. It also helps develop new hair, prevent hair loss, and control frizziness. Here are six best ways to use it for visible results.

Use it as a massage oil
Dilute lavender essential oil by mixing 15 drops with six teaspoons of any carrier oil. Massage it onto your scalp for 10 minutes, leave it on overnight, and then wash it off.

Add it to your haircare products
Mix the essential oil to all your haircare products, like a shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask. Add three drops of it to every dollop of the products.

Lavender oil & lemon juice
Mix five drops of lavender essential oil with two tablespoons each of fresh lemon juice and lukewarm olive oil. Massage it onto your scalp and keep it on for an hour before rinsing it off.

Lavender & coconut oil
Combine tree drops each of lavender and rosemary essential oils with two tablespoons of coconut oil. Apply this on your damp hair, let it sit for 30 minutes, and then rinse it off.

Use lavender oil as a serum
Mix two drops of the essential oil with a teaspoon of argan oil, and use it as a hair serum after washing your hair. This helps boost hair growth and shine.

Lavender oil, honey & gelatin
Mix one tablespoon of melted gelatin with 10 drops of lavender essential oil, one teaspoon of honey, and half a cup of water. Use this as a hair mask for 15 minutes, twice a week.

The side effects
Make sure you do not use raw lavender essential oil on your hair, as its strong concentration can cause rashes and scalp irritation. Other than that, the oil has no such side effects.
