Une Femme Wines works to empower women with every purchase, thanks to the brand’s partnership with the global nonprofit Dress for Success. Any purchase of Une Femme Wines—which are made by world-class winemaker Samantha Sheehan—directly benefits Dress for Success, which helps to improve the economic mobility of women all over the world.

The McBride Sisters Wine Company, the largest Black-owned wine company in the U.S., is doing its part to close the gender and race gaps in the winemaking industry.
A portion of the proceeds from each sale of the She Can line—a line of complex, balanced and high-quality canned wines—goes to the McBride Sisters She Can Fund, which supports women in traditionally male-dominated industries.  Professional development grants, in-kind marketing support and mentorship are all part of the She Can Fund’s projects.
Within one year of starting the fund, McBride Sisters was able to award scholarships of of nearly $40,000 to women in the wine industry. Since then, it’s contributed over $3 million to various mission-aligned efforts.
Every year, the Baldacci family pledges to donate $10 for every active wine club member to a local Napa County nonprofit. This year, the winery has selected the Puertas Abiertas Community Resource Center, which provides, health, social, and educational services to the local Latino community.
The brand currently counts 1,200 active wine club members, which means the donation for 2022 is on track to be $12,000. The Baldacci family’s contribution will go toward Puertas Abiertas’ initiatives that help improve financial ability, civic involvement and educational success within the community.
Vina Robles hails from Paso Robles, California, where its flagship wine pays homage to the region’s iconic oak trees. In an effort to preserve the beauty and endurance of the oaks, the brand uses a portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold to plant trees. Through a partnership with One Tree Planted, the company has planted over 21,500 trees through sales of this wine.
The Arborist is a dynamic, medium-bodied red blend that’s dedicated to Vina Robles’ founder Hans Nef and named for the arborist who saved the life of the centuries-old oak tree featured on the winery’s label.
The Ornellaia Vendemmia d’Artista Project was created to celebrate each new vintage of Ornellaia. Each year, a contemporary artist is selected to create a work of art and a series of special-edition labels that embody the character of the new vintage.
Through the brand’s partnership with Sotheby’s, the art is auctioned off with benefits going to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in support of the Museum’s innovative Mind’s Eye program, which creates programming for visitors who are blind or have low vision. This year, the Ornellaia 2019 “Il Vigore” Vendemmia d’Artista auction raised $302,000 for the charity.

Head High Vineyards makes Sonoma County Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Zinfandel, all of which benefit environmental charities like Sustainable Surf and Duke’s Oceanfest.
The brand seeks to create a cleaner environment and stronger local communities through every bottle of wine sold. To date, Head High has raised over $96,148 and remains committed to environmental stewardship through the partnership with these non-profit organizations.
Launched in the midst of the 2017 Thomas Fires, this hard seltzer and kombucha brand dedicates 1% of all sales to its Embers Foundation in appreciation of the first responders who worked to save the community.

The number-one producer of rum in Venezuela, Santa Teresa 1796 has been producing the spirit for centuries. In 2003, a group of gang members broke onto the rum producer’s property and threatened a security guard. Once apprehended, the gang members were given an ultimatum: Stay and work, or be handed over to the police. That incident sparked Project Alcatraz, which Santa Teresa 1796 run ever since.
Project Alcatraz aims to recruit criminal gangs, rehabilitate them and reintegrate them back into society. The initiative provides education, training and mental health assistance to troubled youth. To date, the charity has recruited over 200 former gang members and has taken the methodology to 34 different penitentiaries throughout Venezuela.

The operations’s limited-edition, 18-year-old single malt Irish whiskey is the result of a collaboration with the NGO BlueCheck Ukraine, which identifies and channels donations to humanitarian aid initiatives for the people of Ukraine.
