Bees Now Addicted To Neonicitinoids

Honey bees are now facing a new threat to their existence by becoming addicted to Neonicitinoids!  The neuro-active insecticides developed by Bayer in the 1990s are now having an even greater impact on the honey bee population as our furry little crop pollinating friends are becoming addicted to them.  After a Europe wide ban took effect in 2013, bees are now having to line up outside countries that have not implemented a ban to ask other passing insects if they can just pop in and "get them 10 Bensons", named after the preferred dose of 10µg that bees like and the fact that the main character in Bee Movie is named Barry B. Benson, this of course makes no sense, but we don't like silly little things like facts and logic get in the way of our reporting here at Natural Newd.
