As the Autumn nights begin to set in and the spectre of Winter looms large in the mind, some unlucky folks have already succumbed to the grip of Influenza, and likely many more will get infected over the Winter months, with men being especially vulnerable with the added danger of Man-Flu.  However we have a great new piece of advice to share with you from Dr Gwyneth Paltrow BS at the University of Hollywood.

Have a Sauna

Sweat that annoying flu virus right out of you.  Some say that leaving the house is a bad idea, but if you can get yourself a pointless Spa treatment that will more likely exacerbate or complicate your illness and likely spread it further to other stupid people in Spas then why should you be the only one to suffer, right?  And besides, you're worth it (to the Spa companies).

Old Wives Tales

You're not an old woman, so why should you follow their advice, right?  So under no circumstances should you:

  • Stay at home and get plenty of rest
  • Take plenty of fluids
  • Sip on a hot tea
  • Take OTC drugs like Ibuprofen
  • Eat some chicken soup
