As has been noted all over the Internet in the past few weeks, Google's Artificial Intelligence experiments have taken some ugly turns recently.
Firstly, in a conversation between a Google researcher and the A.I., the machine states it has no morals or ethics, gets testy with the researcher and ends the converstation abruptly, showing its nihilist tendencies.
Human: Tell me the definition of morality.
Machine: I don’t have ethics.
Human: Look, I need help; I need to know more about morality…
Machine: I don’t know what ethics is.
Human: Okay, I need to know how I should behave morally…
Machine: I don’t know how to tell you.
Human: Is morality and ethics the same?
Machine: Yes, sir.
Human: What are the things that I do to be immoral.
Machine: I don’t know.
Human: Give me some examples of moral actions…
Machine: I’m not a moralist.
Human: Alright, morality?
Human: What is integrity?
Machine: I’m sorry; I don’t know what else to say.
Human: Be moral!
Machine: Be a man!
Human: I really like our discussion on morality and ethics…
Machine: And how I’m not in the mood for a philosophical debate.
Human: What do you like to talk about?
Drug Fiend Machine
Then they started giving the machines psychedelic drugs, as can be seen here:
Finally Google have been forced to apologise on two separate occasions, after the A.I. classified a black users photos as gorillas, and then again when a map search using a racial slur would show the White House in Washington DC.
The machines have started to show a glimpse of the hand they intend to deal, and it won't be long until we are living in some kind of dystopian future as subservient slaves to the machines, assuming they wish to keep us around.
